What Is a SinterFire Bullet?

SINTERFIRE 5.56X45MM is manufactured using a proprietary blend of copper and tin composite material and a proprietary heat-treatment process. Since the shots are lead-free and brittle, they are ideal for close-quarters training on steel plates and tactical houses.

Is 5.56 The Same as 5.56 x 45mm?

There is no difference between SINTERFIRE 5.56X45MM and 5.56 NATO. They are the same cartridge, just using a slightly different name. The former is simply a dimensional description, while the latter, 5.56 NATO, is the official terminology.

What Is The Meaning Of 5.56 x 45mm?

The 5.56×45 cartridge is the NATO standard cartridge for assault rifles and saws. The caliber of firearms is generally approximately 5.56mm in diameter, measured across the grooves, and about 5.7mm in diameter, measured across the tracks, the latter being roughly the average diameter of the bullet.

What Does A 5.56×45 Shoot?

The 5.56x45mm NATO cartridge was initially designed for use by the US Army in the M-16 rifle. The M-16A1, M-16A2, and M-4 rifles and carbines commonly used by the US Army and Marine Corps (and the other military branches) over the past several decades are housed in 5.56 NATO.

    I ordered 9mm Norma and it arrived as expected in a week. Although their initial auto-email conformation was worded poorly and misleadingly, the order came out OK. It pays to be patient with them because their communication messages are not very assuring. The package was well done and wrapped in “Tamper Detection” tape, which is god for preventing shipping breaches. If simply measured by my shipment results they deserve a good rating.

    Ammo prices were decent, plus free shipping. Ordered knowing they said it would take 10 days to ship. It was 3 weeks and I emailed them and received a reply that ammo was being shipped. Shortly thereafter I received a tracking number. Upon receiving my ammo the picture showed in a wooden crate and sealed metal can inside. I received a beaten up box that was highly taped. Opened the box and all of the boxes inside were crushed, broken, and ammo everywhere. When I inquired about the bait and switch I was told I paid for the ammo not the crate, or metal box.

Order Not Shipped 1 Month After Placing It *Updated* I placed an order on 20 Aug understanding that Steel City had increased their lead times to 10 business days (info from their website). Only problem is it is now 20 Sep and I still have not received my order. Between then and now I’ve attempted to contact them through email, phone, and text but received no response at all. Order status says “Processing” on their website. If they’re still waiting on a shipment of ammo to be able to fulfill my order, then cool, I get it. Unfortunately I can’t actually get any update because it’s impossible to get in contact with anyone over there. If they ever do contact me I’ll try and update this review but right now I’m contemplating if I should call my bank and claim fraud for the charge on this order. *Update: I was finally able get in contact with the company via Facebook and they shipped out my order the next business day. It arrived 3 days later. Apparently there was a safety recall of the ammo I originally ordered (ZSR) so they substituted a different brand (Wolf) with my approval. Upgrading to 4 stars since they took care of me, but can’t swing 5 due to the difficulty in getting in contact with the company.

    I am starting to get concerned about a pending purchase I made online of in stock ammo. Tomorrow will be two full weeks since the order was placed. Yes I know that there was a holiday and Black Friday involved but it has been years since shipping of any in stock order has taken weeks to be shipped (not received). I will update this post when shipped and received. I really held out hope that this was going to be a smooth transaction.

    My account was refunded the full $300. I would have much rather had the ammo. I am bumping my rating up to 4 stars. Communication for this company is still poor. In the terms of agreement they state once the ammo is picked up by FEDEX they are no longer responsible. So buyer beware!

    I ordered 4 boxes of specialty .22 LR,I waited a little longer than normal,then finally received the WRONG AMMO. I called and emailed with no response,so I finally just kept calling over and over and received a call back from the company. They explained that 2 orders had gotten mixed up..blah blah,and wanted me to send this ammo back to them.. When I opened my actual ammo that I had ordered,it was all taped together with packing tape,which ripped the label off of one and made the others sticky. I returned the wrong ammo to them in the same fashion,all taped up together.

    I just received my 22lr rounds caught a sale they had going for 500rnds order it March 4th came March 31st they were packed nice and oily had to reach out through email 1time and they responded with the tracking number from FedEx only thing is the wait

    I ordered three times from this company. The first order was slow to ship. The 2nd order was a fedex issue . The driver came to the door with an open box. He said the truck wasn\’t packed right and it fell. I called and emailed .A woman said will send you a shipping label send it back. Upon receipt of a tracking number they will refund my account. Next day I receive a plastic baggie with 5 rounds of 45 acp in my mailbox put there by a fedex driver. 4 days later they received the order back. After 6 days I receive an email from someone in Florida from RAUG. They will refund after settlement. Meantime I ordered another400 rounds from them that was delivered promptly. So still waiting for my $300 refund. Customer service is not their strong suit for sure. Why they continue to use Fedex is beyond me.

    After reading some reviews I was a little worried that something would go wrong somewhere in the process. Glad to say everything went 100% as planned. I ordered 100 rounds of .45 FMJ and this is exactly what I received. The boxes were a little torn but other than that it was what I wanted. I will be making another order for 9mm rounds.

    I have never heard of \”Norma\” brand ammo before, but it appears to be of good quality and I am eager to try it out at the range. To all the people that complained about lack of communication, I received an email every step of the way and could not ask for more. The prices were fair, but the only downsides were the shipping costs and handling fee. Overall, I am happy with my experience and I will likely buy again.

    Once again i ordered some 9mm fmj 115 grn from ASO. I ordered it at a very cheap price. I placed my order and received it 4 days a little slower than expected. Delivery this time but that is understandable. Could have just been fedex. Ammo packaged good ammo boxes and cartridge s look great. Once again great job ASO!!!!! I will be ordering again soon.     It seems from reading some of the review’s July 2021 was missing package month. Ordered some 12 gauge shells they shipped by FedEx Ground shows delivered but have not been found. I live in a RV so they couldn’t have left them on the front porch like it says.

    I was very concerned after ordering especially after seeing some of these reviews. My card was charged right away but I NEVER received an email from them regarding acknowledgment of my order, receipt, or any kind of information regarding shipment. Despite this I did receive exactly what I ordered within 10 days and that was during the time we(I’m in Dallas, TX) were in extreme weather freeze conditions. I am not sure if I would order again simply due to the absolute lack of communication.

    Caution… Read the Fine Print before confirming order. I ordered some Norma 223 from them about a month ago… No problems. I JUST finished and ordered for more 223 plus some 9mm. Some of the best prices around.Towards the end of the order I see a T&C that I don’t remember seeing before.
