The heavy, fluted stainless steel barrel undergoes a proper lapping process for consistent accuracy and easier cleaning. The glass-bed receiver is mounted on a second-generation carbon fiber reinforced composite stock. Browning added a fluted spiral bolt with an oversized bolt handle to run buttery smooth X-bolt action with an adjustable quill trigger.     I ordered 9mm Norma and it arrived as expected in a week. Although their initial auto-email conformation was worded poorly and misleadingly, the order came out OK. It pays to be patient with them because their communication messages are not very assuring. The package was well done and wrapped in “Tamper Detection” tape, which is god for preventing shipping breaches. If simply measured by my shipment results they deserve a good rating.

    I ordered 9mm Norma and it arrived as expected in a week. Although their initial auto-email conformation was worded poorly and misleadingly, the order came out OK. It pays to be patient with them because their communication messages are not very assuring.     I am starting to get concerned about a pending purchase I made online of in stock ammo. Tomorrow will be two full weeks since the order was placed. Yes I know that there was a holiday and Black Friday involved but it has been years since shipping of any in stock order has taken weeks to be shipped (not received). I will update this post when shipped and received. I really held out hope that this was going to be a smooth transaction.

    Ammo prices were decent, plus free shipping. Ordered knowing they said it would take 10 days to ship. It was 3 weeks and I emailed them and received a reply that ammo was being shipped. Shortly thereafter I received a tracking number. Upon receiving my ammo the picture showed in a wooden crate and sealed metal can inside. I received a beaten up box that was highly taped. Opened the box and all of the boxes inside were crushed, broken, and ammo everywhere. When I inquired about the bait and switch I was told I paid for the ammo not the crate, or metal box.

He said the truck wasn\’t packed right and it fell. I called and emailed .A woman said will send you a shipping label send it back. Upon receipt of a tracking number they will refund my account. Next day I receive a plastic baggie with 5 rounds of 45 acp in my mailbox put there by a fedex driver. 4 days later they received the order back. After 6 days I receive an email from someone in Florida from RAUG. They will refund after settlement. Meantime I ordered another400 rounds from them that was delivered promptly. So still waiting for my $300 refund. Customer service is not their strong suit for sure. Why they continue to use Fedex is beyond me.

    At a time when ammo was scarce, they had what I was looking for. I read some negative reviews, but decided to order anyway. I placed my order on the evening of 3/3/22 and also created an account at that time so I could get tracking information. The next morning, I received an order confirmation email. That afternoon (3/4/22), I received an email that my order had shipped along with the tracking info. My order was delivered on 3/7/22 (a Sunday!). The shipping box was sealed with tamper-proof tape. The ammo boxes were all sealed, and my order was correct.

    Here’s the story: Tracking said my package was delivered, but I had no package. I contacted both the seller, and the delivery company, both gave me the run around. The shipper told me that the sender needed to file a claim, and closed my claim, the seller said that they can’t file a claim with the shipper. The conclusion: package wasn’t stolen, USPS took FedEx package, since it was in mailbox. They took a week from when it was originally delivered to give me a notice. I paid that fee too, and now I have my ammo. Huzzah!

    I did finally received my order but only after 4 weeks of not knowing if I was scammed or not. No order confirmation email, no tracking information and the customer service number leads you to a cell phone with a full voicemail.

    Ordered 5 boxes of 380 ammo on Sunday and had it Thursday morning. Appears to be good quality. Between the shipping cost, tax and handling fee it kicked the price up almost $30, not happy with the extra cost but at least I got ammo.

    Just be careful when ordering, read what ever description they have. Bait and switch. Order Not Shipped 1 Month After Placing It *Updated* I placed an order on 20 Aug understanding that Steel City had increased their lead times to 10 business days (info from their website). Only problem is it is now 20 Sep and I still have not received my order. Between then and now I’ve attempted to contact them through email, phone, and text but received no response at all. Order status says “Processing” on their website. If they’re still waiting on a shipment of ammo to be able to fulfill my order, then cool, I get it. Unfortunately I can’t actually get any update because it’s impossible to get in contact with anyone over there. If they ever do contact me I’ll try and update this review but right now I’m contemplating if I should call my bank and claim fraud for the charge on this order. *Update: I was finally able get in contact with the company via Facebook and they shipped out my order the next business day. It arrived 3 days later. Apparently there was a safety recall of the ammo I originally ordered (ZSR) so they substituted a different brand (Wolf) with my approval. Upgrading to 4 stars since they took care of me, but can’t swing 5 due to the difficulty in getting in contact with the company.

    It seems from reading some of the review’s July 2021 was missing package month. Ordered some 12 gauge shells they shipped by FedEx Ground shows delivered but have not been found. I live in a RV so they couldn’t have left them on the front porch like it says.

    My account was refunded the full $300. I would have much rather had the ammo. I am bumping my rating up to 4 stars. Communication for this company is still poor. In the terms of agreement they state once the ammo is picked up by FEDEX they are no longer responsible. So buyer beware!

    They ship via fedex, and the orders actually came from Ellebell/Savannah GA. This matches their phone number, but doesn’t match their IP address location. Maybe they drop ship? Not sure. Either way…while they’ve had some pretty horrible reviews…they are great quality, and the prices are below market for what I purchased. Hopefully they keep up this trend of quick fulfillment and try and improve on their communication capabilities. Honestly, I would buy again.
