Bowtech prodigy is one of the few manufacturers whose bows can be distinguished at a glance, and Prodigy certainly makes the point. It is not just a cosmetic quality. This, in turn, represents a commitment to the overall bow design approach that reflects the shape and relative proportions of the risers, limbs, and cams, as well as any technology aimed at reducing rotational force or noise.

The grip is often the first thing I try Bowtech Prodigy take to lift a new bow. Bowtech has slightly modified the Prodigy’s grip compared to previous models. The old grip was good; The new one is good. It’s somewhat slimmer, rounded somewhat rather than square, and generally more comfortable.

The Bowtech Prodigy comes out of the 29-inch box, so it was extended to the 30-inch IBO standard for testing for the first step. The test bow weighed about 72 pounds on the scale, so I lowered it to 70. The paddle boats weren’t too tight and went soft. The test model was placed in the comfort setting, and I switched to the performance setting for the initial test. The change is not difficult and only takes a few minutes, but I would recommend doing it in a clean, well-lit place and not in a field where small parts would be easy to throw or lose. Also, changing the settings can affect the weight or length of the drawing. The changes are small, but enough to change the point of impact and should be seen. Bowtech’s overdrive cam system is justified for ease of adjustment. Bowtech recommends finding a center shot by measuring from the riser to the face and the arrow behind the riser. When two distances are equal, that is the center shot. I squared the hand vertically and got good arrow flight without further adjustments. Shooting bows

I am starting to get concerned about a pending purchase I made online of in stock ammo. Tomorrow will be two full weeks since the order was placed. Yes I know that there was a holiday and Black Friday involved but it has been years since shipping of any in stock order has taken weeks to be shipped (not received). I will update this post when shipped and received. I really held out hope that this was going to be a smooth transaction.

At a time when ammo was scarce, they had what I was looking for. I read some negative reviews, but decided to order anyway. I placed my order on the evening of 3/3/22 and also created an account at that time so I could get tracking information. The next morning, I received an order confirmation email. That afternoon (3/4/22), I received an email that my order had shipped along with the tracking info. My order was delivered on 3/7/22 (a Sunday!). The shipping box was sealed with tamper-proof tape. The ammo boxes were all sealed, and my order was correct.

Ammo prices were decent, plus free shipping. Ordered knowing they said it would take 10 days to ship. It was 3 weeks and I emailed them and received a reply that ammo was being shipped. Shortly thereafter I received a tracking number. Upon receiving my ammo the picture showed in a wooden crate and sealed metal can inside. I received a beaten up box that was highly taped. Opened the box and all of the boxes inside were crushed, broken, and ammo everywhere. When I inquired about the bait and switch I was told I paid for the ammo not the crate, or metal box.

Just be careful when ordering, read what ever description they have. Bait and switch. Order Not Shipped 1 Month After Placing It *Updated* I placed an order on 20 Aug understanding that Steel City had increased their lead times to 10 business days (info from their website). Only problem is it is now 20 Sep and I still have not received my order. Between then and now I’ve attempted to contact them through email, phone, and text but received no response at all. Order status says “Processing” on their website. If they’re still waiting on a shipment of ammo to be able to fulfill my order, then cool, I get it. Unfortunately I can’t actually get any update because it’s impossible to get in contact with anyone over there. If they ever do contact me I’ll try and update this review but right now I’m contemplating if I should call my bank and claim fraud for the charge on this order. *Update: I was finally able get in contact with the company via Facebook and they shipped out my order the next business day. It arrived 3 days later. Apparently there was a safety recall of the ammo I originally ordered (ZSR) so they substituted a different brand (Wolf) with my approval. Upgrading to 4 stars since they took care of me, but can’t swing 5 due to the difficulty in getting in contact with the company.

I ordered 9mm Norma and it arrived as expected in a week. Although their initial auto-email conformation was worded poorly and misleadingly, the order came out OK. It pays to be patient with them because their communication messages are not very assuring.

I ordered 9mm Norma and it arrived as expected in a week. Although their initial auto-email conformation was worded poorly and misleadingly, the order came out OK. It pays to be patient with them because their communication messages are not very assuring. The package was well done and wrapped in “Tamper Detection” tape, which is god for preventing shipping breaches. If simply measured by my shipment results they deserve a good rating.

Once again i ordered some 9mm fmj 115 grn from ASO. I ordered it at a very cheap price. I placed my order and received it 4 days a little slower than expected. Delivery this time but that is understandable. Could have just been fedex. Ammo packaged good ammo boxes and cartridge s look great. Once again great job ASO!!!!! I will be ordering again soon. I bought last week, got an email with tracking # all good. The package gets to my local FedEx hub, cannot and will not deliver because of damage and returning whatever is left of it back to the shipper. No communication, nothing. I sent email to their “customer service” nothing, and calling them is a waste of time as everyone has already stated.

Ammo is fine…shipping is OUTRAGEOUS! For 3 cases of ammo. When I checked retail prices from UPS, it came out to about half that. They are clearly in the business of making money on shipping which is not good business practice.

After submitting both a credit card claim and BBB complaint they finally responded and quickly sent me what I ordered without issue.

After reading some reviews I was a little worried that something would go wrong somewhere in the process. Glad to say everything went 100% as planned. I ordered 100 rounds of .45 FMJ and this is exactly what I received. The boxes were a little torn but other than that it was what I wanted. I will be making another order for 9mm rounds.

They ship via fedex, and the orders actually came from Ellebell/Savannah GA. This matches their phone number, but doesn’t match their IP address location. Maybe they drop ship? Not sure. Either way…while they’ve had some pretty horrible reviews…they are great quality, and the prices are below market for what I purchased. Hopefully they keep up this trend of quick fulfillment and try and improve on their communication capabilities. Honestly, I would buy again.
